    waterlogged seat

Ok so we know the ski rolled. That was over 24 he's ago. The seat has been on its end since then. Not much evidence of draining. I put a towel over the motor and put the seat on and sat on it. Nothing came out.

Got a fan on the way but damn. It is heavy for sure. Any other ideas sans recovering the seat. Considering the application they should be able to dry out.

not sure if this will work but how about sticking a screw driver in under the cover, prying out one or two staples and leaving the screw driver in there and tipping it, to create a way for the water to exit... that is only if you have access to a stainless steel staple to put back in its place.. I feel it would be awfully hard for the water to exit when there is no place for it to exit..

If you can't find any....look for "monel staples"

I've used them in the past and work suprisingly well in salt water.

    Example:
