    300X - still a problem

    Im wearing very thin on this.... Take the 300X out for a run on the lake... I can accelerate slowly or fast , acts normal until mid RPM range of which it is hesitant... does not shut off, just constantly cuts in and out

    boost should be much higher?

    I pulled out the super charger today, everything looks fine.. greesed up the SC belt tensioner, belt looks fine,,,, I cannot find any leaks on any of the big air tubes.... also, my speedo does not register... could this cause it? (I doubt it)... so I spent hours on this thing today and its still running exactly the same .... soon time to move on!

    Your profile states you have 2-300x. Swap the ecu between the two and report back please.

    also what mods or work that had been done to the ski prior to this issue please.

    How many hrs?
    did any codes come up that Like F1 then pressed to get rid off..

    in Vid your going WOT as best you could,looks like only 5500rpms and maybe 5 lbs of boost..
    First check that your paddle wheel on rideplate is it spinning freely?

    its making no boost are you sure all your clamps are tight and correctly fitted also is the bov and bypass valves working correctly?

    Waste gate vacuum hose? I had not secured it properly once and it was just releasing all my boost there. The part throwing me off here is the I inconsistant acceleration, no codes, not really sputtering just not running right.
    Could just start by unplugging waiting a little bit then reconnecting the ecu. Both plugs.

    Yes I have two 2011 300X
    both completely stock with ex-filter removed (for now)
    one has 20 hours (the troublesome one), the other 30 hrs

    if I swap ECU's, what key do I use? Will swapping ECU's throw any codes? where is the brain box on this thing... I have not seen it in the engine bay during all my work.. is it in the firewall behind the battery?

    where is the blow off and bypass valve? im new to this ski and have only worked on a VW TDI for turbo experience.

    no work done by me on this ski, it came like it.... the guy was selling a 300x,,, when I became interested in it, he offered me his other 300x for a price I could not pass up (but maybe should have...).. so I bought two. the guy was a very wealthy man who did zero preventative and little maintenance... (basically once a year to a shop to get them ready for the season)

    ill check paddlewheel tomorrow

    I will re-check hoses tomorrow as well.

    on the hose in the driveway it does not do this... but then again it rev's quicker b/c of no load, but I don't like to rev it to much while on the hose.... also, on the hose I don't ever seem to see any boost on the lcd.

    im really starting to think its a boost / intake issue... but what

    I should also mention regarding the video

    the 1st part of the video im going wot

    then you will see me sit idle for a brief moment, then I accelerate slowly
