    shut off for towing

    This hose is the hose that's feeds water for the cooling I am going to put shut off valve in just wanted to make sure that it is the right hose and I was going to use a pvc fitting would that be OK

    Where is that hose connected at the jet pump base inside the hull?

    Looks like the right hose.

    I posted a source for a compact valve with hose barbs.

    Yes connected in the hull at the back by the jet pump and i looked at the pictures in the link and that shut off looks pretty fancy I was just going with a pvc shut off (cheap one from hardware store)

    Fancy? It is an irrigation valve.

    The nice thing is how compact and light weight the result is. No hose barb adapters threaded into a big plastic valve body, minimal overall installed length and light weight.

    Weight in a shut-off valve is not a good thing since you have to find a way to restrain the heavy valve assembly from bouncing and flexing while riding. The Antelco unit seems nearly perfect for this use.

    I am going to call tool fetch today to make sure my order went through. Good thing I called had to reorder the shut off valves having them shipped 2 day air so I will be ready for the ride sat on lake Michigan
