All washers will eventually fail-- that is why they are replaced during the rebuild process. The metal ones are said to be much more durable than the ceramics of 04-07.

all superchargers should be rebuilt at 100 hours
and if your ski is 07 or older and you don't know if has been updated do it NOW
the SC spins at 48,000+ rpm and the tiny bearings don't last forever

Are they gold in color????If so those are the older BRP washers they used in the 08-09 kits.....Those were prone to some breakage but not as bad as the ceramics...IF you do not know who manufactured those washers then i would get them out as anybody can spin off a set of washers on a CNC machine and sell them as good...Stick with the Rivas or if you can find a set of new OEM styles those are the best and most reliable on the market today...Also washe breakage can be contributed but not limited to the way the SCer slip was set up..if not set up correctly you could have pre mature failue also...so i would advise you to get that SCer checked out ASAP....

IF Jerry looked it over then i wouldnt have any worries..He wont let garbage leave his garage..I would though however have the slip rechecked/set seeing it was rebuilt 60 hours ago..
