Handlebar cover for finger throttle mod
I have a 2007 GTX Wake 215 that I am changing the stock thumb throttle to a finger throttle. I bought the TBM Racing RXP/RXT throttle lever, a Seadoo cable adapter, and the Hot Products FB001-SD 4-TEC handlebar cover.
There is a hole in the Hot Products cover, but not a corresponding hole on the Seadoo side. Do I have to drill a hole on the Seadoo side? I have already removed the stock thumb throttle/shroud.
The Hot Products cover is not a perfect fit, and requires some force to get it into the best alignment. I'm concerned that the single plastic dart supplied won't be enough to hold the cover in place. Would it be advisable to add additional holes and plastic darts to the Hot Products cover to help in keeping the Hot Products cover in place?
I've already called Tom at Hot Products, but he was reluctant to give any advice since he had not personally ever installed this cover.
If anyone has any experience installing the Hot Products 4-TEC handlebar cover, I would love to hear any tips or tricks.

Here are a couple of pictures of the Hot Products 4-TEC handlebar cover.
Here are some pictures of the stock thumb throttle/shroud removed. I had already installed the cable adapter on the end of the throttle cable.
A picture from underneath of the Hot Products cover temporarily being held in place. The cover isn't fitting perfectly, so I think I'm going to try and sand some cover edges down so the cover will fit better. A greenhulk member pm'ed me and confirmed that he had needed to drill a hole in the Seadoo flange so that it would match up with the hole in the Hot Products cover.
