    Nice little jump start kit/charger

    http://www.amazon.com/Antigravity-Ba...ntigravity+xp1
I bought one of these from Amazon. A fellow SoCal Club and GH member Ph2ocraft Al put this out on our SoCal site. It is about 12X8X2" and weighs probably 3 pounds.
Starts your ski 30+ times on one charge! Only good for diesels up to 2.5 ltr. 30 starts on your car. Charge your phone, ipod, etc. Comes with cables that will fit most devices.
Also has hook-ups for almost any laptop. Can be charged at home or while driving. It's the real deal. Does as advertised.
    Re-charge once every 6 months.
Easily fits in any ski storage compartment.
    Good day folks.

44 Watt-Hour battery capacity seems kinda small to start an engine 30+ times.

What is the actual size of the kit? 12x8x2 ?

OK K447, made me pull out the ruler...lol
    It is actually 10" X 7" X 2". (That's southern increments) I was just guessing before.
I tried it on my PT Cruiser and it works. Tried it on my 550 and it worked. (used an old battery I have that wont hold cranking amps)
Al says he actually tried it and it did 30 starts on different cars/atv's & skis.
    200 cranking amps. 400 peak.

    Aha says:

So I got to use mine for the 1st time today... left the CB on in the Jeep... hooked the microstart to the battery and the Jeep cranked right up!

    Kawiski says:

They say you can jump start a car 50 times w/o recharging if this device is fully charged - which is hard to believe!
So, who else has gotten one other than 3 of us here?
Just like the old AmEx card commercial... "Don't leave home w/o it!"

    Response from Aha was:

I believe it could... I know Brian's bro used it an entire day when we went to BBSD and it still had power at the end of the day.

    Ph02craft says:

I'm at 52 starts with various Mercedes on one complete charge.
I have one blue dot but I'll use it on a 250 tomorrow and see how many more starts I get. I'm going to guess 50 is a conservative number-but we'll see.
I have not charged this pack I'm using at the shop for roughly 90 days.
After it wont start a car any longer I'm putting my i-phone to it and see just how much is left. LOL
We'll see if it fully charges after that point

Mine finally wouldn't start the 230sl I'd been using as my test car.
It turned on the injection system, door lights but only went "click"
    She's done at 63 starts.
I left the battery on its charger this weekend.
We'll see just what damage has or hasn't been done

I now have 3 of them.
One at work, which gets abused.
I even used it to start a diesel, it didn't like it but it worked. It saved me from grabbing the roll out jumper
    One in my tow vehicle
    One at home
On a recent trip to the Delta I forgot my phone cord, not an issue, charged it through the jumper kit.
Amazingly powerful. I LOVE technology and I'm sure we'll see stronger and smaller kits in the future.

One of my kits is from Zero Gravity but the performance appears to be identical to the others.
This jumper even fires those pesky Polaris ignition systems.

Like I said, my mission is to torture and destroy this one, just to see what it can and can't do.
These things can take quite a beating...just how much is what I want to know

My pack sitting in the GL (4 months) fired up a jet ski at the Delta this weekend, no issue but it did make the 4th blue dot flicker.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, 30 more jumps since re-charge.
I'm now letting it sit for 3 weeks and see if it holds the 3 bars
    Crazy how strong they are

    ----
So this is what was posted on club site. Al took the time to try and torture the thing so those of us interested could see if this thing really performs as advertised. Seems it does. Based on this and others posts I bought one. I intend to buy 3 more. 1 for each car.

how are those aligator clips ? that was alwaya teh problem with my booster pack teh darn clips were too big and clunky to get onto our tiny battery terminals. i always had to clip teh neg cable to some bare metal and use a nail to poke the pos cable onto the terminal, kida like welding
anything in the kit that makes jumping the ski easy?
side story, anybody ever jump start a ski while standing in knee deep water and holding the aligator clip... not fun.
