    Riva Rear Exhaust Template

I just got it and cut the template out

I am obviously going to use the RXT template for the GTX

How much play do you have when cutting this out?

I have it flush against bottom as shown in picture

    look right?

Try to drill it as straight and level as possible; that will make drilling the four bolt holes easier too. If you deviate from straight you will have bolt holes that get too close to the large exhaust hole and need to be reamed out too much to get the bolts to line up with the hardware inside the hull.

This is one hell of a job to do...

Havent drilled yet but have got all the old exhaust ripped out and the other side block off plate installed with marine sealant....

now i have the tube just sitting in there for the time being.... i am sure its going to be a pain in the ass to tighten the 2 clamps from the opas blockoff... such a small hole to work with!

The back of your hull is at a slight angle. Hold the drill at that same angle. Do not hold the drill parallel with the ground (straight)

ie drill perpendicular to the surface...?

A guide on the drill would be nice.

Like those on some kind of plunge router...maybe?

Yea i waited to drill the hole before jerry made a comment.... since it is at an angle drilling straight wouldnt make sense....

What is the normal labor cost for a dealer to install this?
