    Pro 785 rebuild

I picked up a real nice 98 pro, that some meathead decided to run out of oil. I bought two crank bearings and connecting rod bearings. Three new pistons a complete gasket kit too. Is there anything else I should get? I'm going to replace the fuel and vent lines as they are the old crappy grey kind, but should I do the cooling lines to?

Ya the 5 vein stator is beat up pretty bad but the ss impeller is good. What is this jetworks valve? And I'm assuming I use 1/4" and 1/8" hose for all of this. I see that the 97-98 pro made 135hp and the 99-00 made 140hp I figure this is because the 99-00 model turns a little more peak rpm's but the cdi's have the same part #. Also I'm very new to jet skis (but I am very well versed in snowmobiles)so this might sound like a silly question. Why do they run cooling water threw the pipes? I know hot pipes make more hp.

as far as the water through the pipes go it was more for the ijsba racing . you will need 3/8 hose for the cooling lines , your 98 cdi is the same as a 99-00 I would hunt down a six vane stator and let me know what # is on your prop because the 98's came with a nu jet prop which is not as good as the 97-99-00 prop

Will the bottom motor case half off a 97 pro fit on My 98? I sent My bottom half to a welder 3.5 weeks ago as My tig welder wont do aluminum and I'm tired of waiting. A fellow member on here has top and bottom halves for sale for $50, if it will work I think Im going to go that route.
