    750 Zxi curse....

My problem is between 20-30 minutes range, when I give gas at full throttle it cuts off. It runs great up to that point. I tried switching from regular to reserve for the gas tank and the problems persistent. This third time at the lake I had this issue. But I finally narrowed it to the when it occurs. Fuel filter and the new lines are plenty full. I am able to restart the jet ski and get my self back to shore with some throttle. But if I give it open throttle it quits. As I said, I had none of this issues up to the 20-30 minutes of riding. Gas tank is clear and clean, new fuel filter, new fuel lines, and plenty fresh gas and oil. Spark plugs are new and shows normal carbon build up. The battery appears to be charging while running which is getting 13-14 volts. Is something getting hot? Electrical issues? The engine is excellent with 180 psi compression. The hose for the check valve appears clear with no obstruction.
I need some help before I winterized it and give up until next year.

Also to add, this has been doing it before and after a carburetor rebuild.

I saw that post but its hard to know if that is the issue. I'm getting fuel in the lines and the fuel filter. I could replace it but its a $100 part and there's not guarantee that will fix it....

Doesn't cost anything to test it.

I will look at it and check it out. Looking at that picture on the forum link, his was an all metal unit while mine was plastic. I taken it loose several times and I haven't seen any form of corrosion from before. One thing to look at....

If you are having the same problem as in the link that Steve gave you, removing and reinstalling the gas cap should alleviate the symptoms for another 20 minutes while out on the water.
