07 rxp clutch slipping 2HRS RIDE TIME.

Hi all, well had my new 07 rxp for a week now. Rode today after work, pulling 6500 rpm top speed 54-55mph. Im quite certain the clutch is slipping. I hope it hasnt destroyed itself and gone through the oil pump, the ski has 2 hrs ride time on it. Not a good start to the easter break, off to the dealer next week.Damn was looking forward to enjoying my new toy this easter.

6500 rpms is the magic number. sorry to say, but your ceramics took a dive. if i and others have said it once, we'll say it again! people if you are running ceramics on any supercharged seadoo model-do yourself and this forum a favor and get jerry's washers! DONT WAIT!

if i got a brand new rxp tomm, the first thing i would do is send the sc to jerry for the washers THEN ride it like i stole it!

Unfortunately it's not slipping. You lost a ceramic washer off of the clutch. What a mess! Very sorry to hear!

And on that note I think I will be ordering my metal washers from Jerry in the next day or two. 0 hours on it and no sense in waiting, considering two 07' went in the same week in the break in period. Def. not going to chance this one.
