    '07 FX HO pisser

My second ski is a 2007 FX HO Cruiser. The pisser on the right side of the ski does not seem to be working (no water coming out while riding). Long story short, I figured it might be clogged, so I pulled the line that goes to the pisser and it was clear. I next continued the water line that goes out by the exhaust which was also clear . Next, I took apart the valve where all both lines connect and that too was clear. Not sure if anything is even wrong, but thought I would ask on here. No warning buzzer while riding.

Pictures left to right: 1) where the water lines meet, 2) the valve assembly, 3) the valve.

Three things you may wish to check.
1: Drop the thermostat (valve) into cold water and bring it to the boil noting the temp at which it starts to open as it may be buggered. I don't have the manual handy but my 2005 FX HO opened about 120 F which was serviceable.
2: Try a "blow back" by inserting pressurized water back up the pisser whilst it's warm and the thermostat is open. Another option is to hold your finger over the pisser for a minute or two to possibly build up some air pressure that could evacuate anything that has become lodged in the hose.
3: Perform a full back flush with the thermostat housing removed but be sure to check afterwards for any signs of water in engine.

Probably nothing wrong if no alarms. The R/H pisser works as a pressure relief to the system......only works above a certain pressure at higher rpm......even then you only get more of a mist coming out rather then a steady run of water, so not always easy to see when riding at speed.

As Volltrex mentioned, the right pisser only pisses when there is a problem. Left pisser only on the 07 FX HO.

Ah, yes disregard my post. I though you meant the left pisser. My bad...

The right pisser only works when the thermostat opens to let you know it is working properly, Julio...
