Solas 13/20 impeller for 14 fzr

I got a solas 13/20 impeller today but it came with these small screws. I have attached the picture to this post. What are these screws and what does variable pitch mean in the product description?

Set screws for holding nose cone to shaft. Put them in those tiny holes on the side of the nose cone. Hope you have some serious HP being made for that prop. Let us know how things turn out.

After install using the special prop wrench which you will need you will slide the cone into place and then setscrew lock it. The variable pitch means the first number is the low end and the last the top end. So if your take off is good but you need more rpm's then you would lower the pitch on the last number. This has to be done by someone who has a way of bending it not anything you can easily change

I will thanks. Ah to the serious hp? I don't know. I run the r2 program from r&d with a few other mods.

dont waste your time with the cone, looks nice but useless really, and a pain inthe balls if you need to remove the impeller to repitch it

The nose cone does help reduce cavitation

That prop on Your application it's to tall.

first thing I would do is Check the pitch Most of the 13/20's are 21's are better. Even if it's a 20 Your R2 won't pull it. Nor a R3,R4R1000

That prop needs to be depitched, now if You want you can run that prop without any issues change Your exhaust Cam, Then You can Run Your R2

This prop is the perfect bolt on for the older sho's.

Perfect combo 2014 SVHO pump, wear ring and this prop
