This should be a sticky. Turbo feed line oil screen!!

I bought a new turbo about 10 hrs ago and this new one failed! I assumed it was lack of oil or maybe just got a bad one.. I read either on here or pwctoday about the oil feeder line (top line to the turbo) has a screen on it. I took mine apart and the bolt that feeds into the line has a screen on it and mine was clogged up!! So for anyone that got a used ski or one that they fixed up take the time to disconnect this oil feeder hose, its on the left side of the motor and you need a 10mm and 14mm. There is a bolt with two washers on it, pull that line out and inspect the bottom of the bolt!!! This will save you lots of $$$!! Wish I knew before...

Here are some pics of mine before and after:

    This screen was F12X 2007?
I do not remember seeing her when removing the turbo.
This on the top line of the turbo lubrication?

This was on an 02. Yes the top line to the turbo, but the screen is on the other end where it connects to the bottom of the engine. That bolt lets oil pass through and has a screen in it.

This is one reason why i use seafoam in the engine! Add it to the oil and usually do it at about 25 hrs before oil change to help clean up the inside of the engine, also works well adding when on the water hose just before changing oil, cleans sludge out of engine, I change my oil every 25hrs, and use 0w20 mobile1 fully synthetic.
Thanks for the tip and taking time to post pictures for us!
