    Trip to Bimini Bahamas 2up

Has anyone made the trip to Bimini riding 2 up on a ski just curious how realistic this is? i have done plenty of riding 2 up offshore but never this far or long. also the conditions offshore around where I live are usually chopped out so I have experienced bad conditions like this and its usually just slow going.

It always depends on when you plan on doing this.

Conditions this past season has been hit and miss with storms popping up and creating slop. Typical summer pattern but it seems less glass conditions this year. Traditionally, May is a good (except this year it wasn't). The past 3 weeks its been VERY flat (before 11am). As expected, leaving at sunrise is the best option. Personally, because conditions change so fast, I would never make long term plans. You need to be ready for a 2-4 day notice.

FYI: I'm 65 miles from West End. We ride every weekend in the zone (between S/E FL and W of the Islands) so if you need a pattern update, feel free to ask.

Thanks Sanfish I may take you up on that. I said the same thing the conditions have looked descent the past few weeks on passage weather.com we are planing to go in three weeks but I have not made any firm reservations for that reason want to make sure conditions look right.
