    Vtech AFR ??

How much the Vtech logger AFR is suppose to read when the engine is OFF key ON?

Lots!! The AFR reading doesn't mean anything when the engine isn't running. Mine shows random numbers. To test the sensor with the CMD ststem, the sensor has to be removed and in fresh air.

    This is normal.

Yes, but there is no way to do a sensor calibration with the vtech logger. How can we tell if the sensor is reading correctly? The CMD and the MTX-L both read in the low 20s AFR when the sensor is outside the manifold. So how much do they read inside the Manifold???

It varies and cannot be used as any indication of sensor condition. The data it gives whilst in the exhaust and engine off, is of no relevance as it's complete gobbldygook.

No sure how you check or calibrate the o2 on anything other than CMD.

You can leave the logger hooked up to the ski but toss the o2 sensor about 6" up the exhaust of any newish street car that is warmed up and idling. The exhaust will always be very close to 14.7 AFR.
