    947 counterbalance needle bearing

Bearing hole location up or down? Manual shows no hole on top. You tube vid (Seadoo Crankcase Assembly)
says very important the hole be up. Is the manual correct? Thanks

I always put the hole down-- I have built MANY 951s and I have never had that bearing "fail".
