1100 zxi Boarding Secrets
What's the secret to getting the wife on back without tipping us both over? No, we don't have a step yet. I am not 100% invested in engine perfomance, yet. The boat is a '97 vintage.

Sounds like you're sitting on the front. You have to lean forward to keep the hull from pitching up. If she drags the back end of the 'Ski down into the water, it will start taking on water into the engine compartment.
You both have to work to stay in the center of the 'Ski so it doesn't tip to one side. It takes a little practice.

I have the same ski year & hull, I am 215 lbs. For any pax rider, I move ALL the way forward, tell them to quickly board from rear & try not to lean any to much to one side or the other. The max weight combo for that ski is 330 lbs. So any over that will start to sink back end. You can hull / ride with more weight once under way .... but always tricky @ boarding. Many a couple have taken a swim in a roll over @ this point. It is just they it is. Same procedure for reboard if in the water. Good Luck
