Arrow Clear vent tube laying in bottom of hull is for battery vent

I have a loose vent line on my Son's sltx 1050. It is hooked up on the vent under the gas tank access door, and runs under the engine and is loose at the rear of the engine by the coupler.

I just removed the carbs and reeds, but the line was not disconnected by me..just discovered when replacing gas lines.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

If this is a clear, or perhaps at one time was a clear tube, this is the old battery vent.

If you are now using a sealed battery (AGM type), you can remove and discard the clear tube.

Or you can just leave the battery vent tube where it is... so the next poor chap that gets the ski can use it for its original intent.
    ....

The only other clear small tube goes from the display on the hood/dash to the speedo pitot under the driveshaft. This one needs to be in-place and secure.

    Cheers!

Thanks, I got the speedo figured out, but couldn't figure the Battery vent. Thanks for the quick reply.
