717 into 94 GTX. Keep or swap pump??
So my wife's 94 GTX popped the 657 which is fine because we found a nice donor...a 1996 GTI with an early white 717 and some aftermarket goodies with 150psi compression for a great price.
My question is...should I keep the impeller/pump from the 657 or swap in the 717 shiz. I already have the 657 stuff out so it makes no difference. I'm just tryin to build a 50mph ski for her.

You'll need the 717 impeller at least but if everything is in good shape just swap the whole pump.
