GPR Head Bolt Length/Pitch?
Guys, it's a long shot, but I'm not sure if anyone has the ability to measure some head bolts for me?
I'm looking to replace the stock M8 bolts on a GP800R with some better hardware. I snapped a stock bolt, which I assume to be TTY last weekend. Luckily, I was able to grab a replacement while out of town at a nearby dealer, but I'd like to avoid the situation when I replace the used gasket this upcoming weekend. I'd measure the bolts myself, but I left the skis 7 hours from here at my lake house.
I know the bolts are M8. I'm not 100% positive on lengths or thread pitch. I didn't have my gauge with me. There are of course 10 short bolts and 2 longer bolts...
Figured I'd check here before I just winged it...
I'd rather swap to some quality reusable hardware than use these old and stretched stockers or even just new OE bolts. I come from the automotive racing side of things and I'm used to upgrading fasteners a bit...
I appreciate the help!
