I have 1998 Kawasaki 1100 ZXI that I have been trying to fix for quite sometime. It ran last year, this year won't make a peep. The electrical box did have water in it and a lot of corrosion. I unplugged everything and sprayed it with electrical cleaner multiple times. I replaced the rusty solenoid. The only place I get power I on the battery side oft he solenoid but never on the other pole when the starter is pressed. The only way I can make it turn over is by jumping across the solenoid with a screwdriver. The electrical box is a mess and has been since the previous owners but it's never affected it. All the little plastic connectors that run the wires inside the box are broken, thus how water got in when it was almost sunk. Could it be the orange switch (on/off switch)? Can I wire around that switch to check it. It has 4 wires going into it. Black, white, red, red with black stripe. Please help, thanks!
