09 FZS throttle body
Where's the best place to get a throttle body for a FZS. We hook it up the the YDIS and it's saying TPS 2 sensor is bad. It's saying it has 4.9 volts with the throttle closed. Service manually basicly says to replace it. Throttle body retails for $1k. Any help would be great.

Take the throttle body off and check it for sticking throttle blade befor you replace it. It may have rust/corrosion in the gear drive on it causing it to stick. Tommy Jordan

Hey man. I just took it apart. I really didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I tested the Johnson motor with a 9v battery and it spin freely. Motor had little burn mark on the inside but I don't think it's hurting anything since it spins. I was trying to figure out of the sensor things work. The butterfly gear had some dirt around where the metal looking rings on the cover plate. I cleaned it up. I'm going to try it in the ski in the morning.

the TPS is on the back side of the throttle control, the part that the cable connects to, look into the before replacing the TB

Well I ran a test with 9v battery on the motor when I put it back together. The butterfly only open a little bit. The motor mite be bad if it only opens this much with 9v to it. What do you think. On the harness, green wire is hot and blue is ground.
