    Exclamation Gti leans left

    Hi All,

I'm posting this one for my parents. Their 2012 GTI limited has always leaned to the left when underway. It's particularly noticeable with a passenger on the back. Trying to rebalance ourselves on the seat doesn't help. We finally took it to the Sea Doo dealer, and they "fixed" it. Got the ski back, it still leans left, particularly badly under 30 mph. Took it back again, they can't fix it and don't think there's a problem.

I'm not sure what was done with the first "fix", other than leave sharp, difficult to clean metal shavings in one footwell. Can someone point us in the right direction to get our dealer to properly fix a rather obvious problem? It would be great if there were some sort of service bulletin or something I could reference!

    Thanks for your advice.

    Thanks for posting a reply!

Does a 2012 IBR control Sea Doo still have the OPAS system?

    Any other ideas?

Does it lean left or kind of steer to the left? Check the steering alignment.

I'd have a look at the jetpump. Sounds like some of the sharkfins are missing?(they help the water come out of the pump with a minimal twist.)

My 2013 gtr does the same thing. Under 30 mph with or with out passenger it leans. After you speed up it striaghtens up. I thought it was normal jet wash, but im curious on
a possible fix. My rxp didnt do this, but were talking about a different hull.

My GTX does this as well. Also much more noticeable with two on board.
