Let RIVA Racing Rev Up Your Sea-Doo Spark

It’s kinda funny how people are nearly sprinting at full speed to supe up their Sea-Doo Sparks. The little-runabout-that-could was never intended for full-throttle, hardcore performance action, but that hasn’t stopped nearly grown adult with an itchy trigger finger to take a long look at squeezing out some extra ponies from the 900cc-powered Spark.

Meh. They're gonna be identical* except for new colors, which are literally three plastic parts. Pick up a '14 and go have fun. They're still around.

*That is, except for a new steering column, of course

Aint around here and from my recent experiences at 2 dealers here and the insane jack up on price from "criminal" dealer fees I will not be buying anything from either of them...ever again.

And the other several dealers were out as well...that was a couple months ago and I quit even looking at that point. And so far they have only had 90's when they did have some in stock way back and the wife will not be forced into buying the 90 when she wants the 60. She's quite the pitbull once she's locked onto something...Seadoo is advertising a $4999 60 hp and that's what she wants. lol I'm thinking and hoping maybe the way to do this and to to get the best prices is to wait for the boat show.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, particularly to your pitbull wife (LOL), but even 2-up 60HP Sparks aren't getting out of the door for much less than $6,000 across the country. With dealer setup, destination, registration, battery, sales tax, etc. it adds up pretty quickly.

And even with all of that, dealers are only taking home about $125 per Spark sold.

Oh we know the otd price is going to be much different but being quoted $8600 for a 90? Yeah F that. And with the wife it's not as much about the price but it's about the 60's not even being available when it's being advertised, that kind of thing is what really activates her pitbull lockjaw. LOL! It will work out sooner or later. It is what it is and I'm going to let the wife settle down (since May) and just see what I can get at the boat show.

Supply and demand, my friend. Supply and demand.

By the time your local dealer as one in stock, this will be available:

LOL! You funny guy you. I know it's all about supply and demand and I chose to take a step back out of that whirlwind for now and let the buzz chill a bit. After all...God willing...I have more time than I do money. Everything happens for a reason. I'll wait 'em out!
