RIVA gas powervalves or stock? GP1200R
Ski came with RIVA gas powervalves and I am being told to change them back to stock. He said the stock ones have better control over various atmospheric conditions.

the gas valves work great - no need to change them
if you did want to go back to OEM I also have a complete set-up I would swap with you

I guess I didnt answer the question.
I run the gas valves in my ski just because I started from scratch and I couldnt find everything that I needed for the stock valves. The gas valves do require just a little bit of maintainence so I run the stock valves in my wifes ski just for the "simplicity". I dont want to have to worry about adjusting, and replacing the bellows in the gas valves for my wifes basicly stock rec ski.

I am happy with the gas valves on my 1300 so far. Never had a problem with the OEM ones on the 1200 except for when your in the chop ( hitting the limiter) sometimes they close giving you a sudden loss of power.
