New best MPH on 2012 RXT!

The weather was nice last weekend so I decided to hit the lake on my 2012 RXT 260. Only mods are a Fizzle 4" front air intake and a Vtech 8375 tune. Air temp was 84 degrees, water temp was 86 degrees, 56% humidity, elevation 660'.

Dash speed showed 76 mph at 8240 rpm, and GPS showed 75 mph. I'm definitely pleased with how well this ski performs with just 2 mods! Haven't even filled the rideplate holes yet! Not sure what is next, but considering the Fizzle intercooler that replaces the stock one.

very impressive indeed. the new hulls are so nice to achieve high speeds. i have a lot more mods than that but my max speed so far has only been 78.5.

Very nice. I think I'd just leave it if your happy.

Swapping the intercooler chances are very high you'll be all over limiter so you'll have to repitch the prop.

Yes the intercooler will probably add around 100 RPMs, plus the cooler weather is coming soon so there's more RPMs there too. Maybe try a smaller nozzle or Lucky 13 pump cone to keep the RPMs down and keep gaining performance.

Is this a US ski? Vtech 8375 tune is just a reflash? How would stock injectors handle that and what about the 67mph gps limit?

You must have had a 50mph tail wind or you were going over a waterfall lol

The Vtech ECU reflash removes all factory limiters.

Impressive, I run 76mph GPS with the mods in my signature... Same ski BTW...

Thanks for the ideas... Most of my summer riding is done in July in VA at Claytor Lake which has an elevation of 1856'. I was hitting only 8040-8060 rpm's there last month. Now, back here in SC at 660' elevation I'm hitting 8240. Does that sound right? Temps were probably similar although I didn't look at the humidity or pressure when I was up north.
