I did. In my 2008 RXPX. Works great for gas that has been sitting there for more then 3 months. Was recommended by the shop ( watercraft magic ).

Thanks for the response! Mine hasn't been sitting for a while but I think i got some salt water in the gas tank and was wondering if that would help remove it? What are you thoughts?

Drain the tank and put the gas in your lawn mower!

Best to drain it out and clean the tank if you're worried about salt water.

Ditto If you got any sea water in there then drain the tank out first. I bought a cheap gas siphon from harbor freight tools. Then put fresh gas in and run sea foam. To clean out what ever is left.

Sea Foam doesn't remove water... it "controls moisture" which means it will keep gasoline fresh longer and help protect from condensation concerns. It would be a waste to add it to a tank with salt water in it, you are only making your tank of goup that must be removed bigger and more expensive...

Advertise the gas on craigslist for free...lol. I siphon what i can, then remove the fill neck hose and use my oil change sucker to remove the last little bits of water and nasty when i have to clean a tank out.

after you remove all the fluids in the tank do you wash it out or anything? how do you know if your removing all the salt from the tank?
