Starting issue with 06 yamaha fx
Hello everyone i just have a quick question see if anyone points me in the right direction. I took out my ski this weekend. I checked at my house to see if it starts and cranked right away. Took it to the ramp and once i go to start it to take off to the sand bar its just cranked over but no start. Kepted on turning it over and squeezing the throttle for about 2 minutes and it finally cranked over. After that we headed to the sand bar about a 10 mile run with no issues at all. Was at the sand bar for about 4 hrs and when i get on the ski to leave the same thing occured. After a couple of minutes it cranked on and rode perfectly fine. Once we arrived at the ramp put it on the trailer cranked on at the first hit. And the following day at my house cranked it up at the first hit with no problems.
I have not chenged the sparks plus in almost two years but she's been running smooth and never given me any issues at all. Does any one have any ideas on what could be the causing this random start issue?

Change the plugs......two years is a long time running these small diameter plugs......other then that could be bad fuel.
Squeezing the throttle whilst trying to start does not help......depending on how much you are pulling it in, it will stop the motor from starting.
