You'll be fine, its a locator pin...Hit that area HARD with JB Weld, smooth out the mating surface, and around the pin, so the case will fit....make sure the gasket seals it there good...

The cracked part under the radius showing in the top picture looks troublesome. I wouldnt want the trouble if I was selling that engine to someone...JMO

IF it was my engine, I would try to run it like that and see what happens. I just wouldnt feel to good about selling it like that to someone else...

Yea, I agree, but he sold it to me as a good engine and now doesn't answer my emails or calls.

That crack is not that bad, but I am more worried about the cylinders moving on the cases when in use and soon after Boom!
That pin just falls out. It will hardly stay put.

I forgot, is there only 1 other pin, or a total of 4 pins?

All you are really worying about is a pin....so put some expoxy or JB weld round the pin in the cracked area (not on mating surface)...build it up so i don't move...That should suffice, because its just lining up the jugs...

I would run it like that, no problem....but if you wee to sell it, make sure the buy knows that before hand...

yeah it'll be alright, if you don't mind the top half of your engine being aligned to the bottom half with glue, or if you never run it.
