    Cruiser Spark 4 Person

Since going from a 2up to a 3up is a matter of just adding an extension to the rear of the Spark "who will be the first to make a longer extension" where basically sit 4 up and make it way more stable on chop.. Just a thought

I like the sound of this. Great idea. Make it a viable 2-up for us fatties. Expand the tubing opportunities for those of us with strict laws.

Doesnt quite work like that guys, the reason you can go from a 2 to 3 is because the hull is certified as a 3 up already. The only ceritfied 4 up hulls were the suv and lrv.

    And the Polaris Genesis 1999-2004.

Genesis was/is the most compact four person rated PWC hull.

The hull capacity sticker would need to be changed, no?

Enforcement goes by the capacity rating on the decal, correct?

Adding the Spark hull extension and a longer seat does not change the legal carrying capacity unless the hull decal is also changed, correct?

That is what I was getting at and to the best of my knowledge you can get the 3 seater sticker from the dealer and since its the same hull with the same capacity it shouldnt be a legal issue.

Minimum engine power would be another factor. Seadoo does not sell a 60hp three person Spark. Adding the hull extension to a base model two person Spark might create an underpowered (and potentially unsafe) craft with three people on board.

That is entirely possible. The main point I was making was that you cant do a 4 person ski.

First a 2up 60hp, vteched to 109hp, with the 3up extension and sticker would be hard to tell if if it started as a 2 up.. Basically impossible to tell, since it's only the hull extension and seat, which we could buy at the dealer, so no prob there.

What I was referring to is that some people say the spark is not good on real choppy waters, so why not add a longer extension? Somehow rigged, I believe it could be done and it could potentially work great in choppy waters, and there are limitless possibilities for any engineers out there.. Like a "fishing" option, it would be a great option since it just bolts on...
