SHO Air intake temps and ribbon delete question... (Using PVC spacer)

Ok, so I am doing the ribbon delete on my 2009 SHO. I have a 1" x 2.25" x 3mm thick PVC coupler that fits perfect (literally) into the rubber finned gasket that came out with the ribbon. I know PVC starts to decompose around 140-150 degrees. Is it safe to assume that the intake temps at the throttle body on the SHO are sub 80 degree (ish)?

On boosted applications? They create more heat.

Maybe you want to go with CPVC instead of PVC? CPVC has a service temperature rating up to 200°F where PVC has a maximum service temperature of 140°F.

i'll keep telling you, take it for a ride and just feel the tremendous amount of heat on the manifold and be you own judge. what are the savings from the riva aluminum one? if by any chance it gets hard from the heat after 10 hours [ just a example] and start to come apart , one little piece suck into the engine can cost you 3k .
