    Amphibious riding goggles

Can some one give me some information on the sea doo amphibious riding goggles?! If you buy them the way they are, what color are the lens? In the catalog, in all the pictures, all the riders have black lenses, (what I want) but when you look online they are almost clear-ish.

    Thanks for the help

If you're referring to BRP item #447723, they are smoke colored and also come with a tether strap that attaches to your neck. These are licensed from the manufacturer, Spex, and can also be purchased from amphibianusa.com in various colors and lens colors. I have used them for years and am extremely satisfied with their performance.

Do these Spex goggles seal all water out? I have yet to find a pair of riding goggles that do not let water inside.....drives me nuts.

The oakley h20 goggles are phenomenal. They are dry and tinted but not black. I highly recommend.

Right now I am riding with Polarlens PG4's which are great except for the venting on the top which allows water in. I just sealed the top vents with some silicone and will see how that works the next time I ride. It should definitely help.

The Oakley H2o's are definitely a great goggle but are way too big

There needs to be some airflow around the lens to prevent fogging. I don't have a problem with water getting behind the lens with my Spex.

There are bottom vents as well, so there will still be airflow behind the lens

I ride with Dragon MDX Hydro's and love them. just cruising I run with polarized sunglasses on a leash but riding the ruff stuff or high speed maneuvering the MDX Hydro's are great. I have taken full face of water with them and zero issues. I tried a set of cheaper goggles that were listed for riding and the vents let water pour in when you get soaked. They worked fine for spray but not when running in big waves

I have the Dragon Water goggles and they came with a lite blue tent lens. They float, they do not fog up and are light. I think they are about $50 .. just love them for CC racing they hold up well
