    Yes, I did ... I started engine, turned on hose, let it idle for 3-4 minutes, shut off hose, shut off engine. I got the engine warm but not scorching hot.

    Yes makes it a lot easier to pull from oil pan

    Is there an adapter needed to hook the hose to the machine? I left all my stuff at the lake....

    Yes, dealer should have gave you the adapter to attach to hose, it came with manual and spark plug wrench in clear bag for me. If your changing oil at lake you could run it in water too.

    Here's good video on oil change, slightly different model but you get idea. (Mine I have to suck oil out through dipstick)

    I would say 3-4 mins on the hose does not do much to get the oil warm........10-15 mins is more like it, even then, oil is no where near operating temp......or just change it after a good ride when it is nice & hot.
    If you want to be anal about it.........drop the front of the trailer & jack the side opposite to the dipstick up......you will just about get all the oil out doing this.

    I usually do the service after returning home and has cooled some.
