    High, Low fuel settings

    Where do I find the high and low mixture screws on a 92 sl650? thanks, Jerry

    Why right here!!!
    Low speed screw 1 3/8 turns
    High speed screw
    magneto end 3/8 turns
    center carb early models 1/8 turns
    later models (June-on) 3/8 turn
    PTO rear carb 1/4 turn

    Idle speed in water 1300 rpm
    Pop-off pressure Early models 25-30 psi
    Later models 10-18 psi

    Pilot Jet Early models #85
    Later models #80
    Main Jet #80

    after u pull the air filter/flame arrestor you will see them! The highs are high on the carb and the lows are the lower screws! Z

    Thanks guys, the high adjust has the cap, the low has the T, Right?

    Don't be afraid to remove that cap and make adjustments outside the caps limit IF more adjustment is required. Watch your plugs/piston wash!!!
    The reason for capping off the adjuster is some guys were using crap gas and not tuning properly. They'd wind up lean and Bye Bye engine.
    You'll find ALL manufacturers tune with room for improvement in the performance department BUT you must use the proper fuels and learn to tune the PWC for your particular climate/elevation.
