Angry P0337 - No CPS signal, but CAPS signal detected

I have RXT X 255 2008 seadoo. 2 days ago we took it out, ride for 1 hour. Then engine stopped while riding and we could not turn it back on

Now this error appears P0337 and jetski does not start.

    1. Battery is 100% charged, 12.35V
    2. Engine cranks and the prop spins
    3. 12v on all coil pack connectors with the key plugged in, drops to 9v-10v while trying to start
    4. There is no spark while cranking
    5. With each coil disconnected did an ohms test on the two pins on the coils. Each coil read 1.20-1.30 ohm
    6. Checked all the fuses, pins on ECU - all looking good.

Apparently there is no spark. With no spark, the engine won't start and run.

Please help. What else should I check ?

    Thanks

Just checked for 190 to 290 ohms between terminals A-5 and A-19 of ECM connector.

Read 00.5, which is 1/2 ohm.

    Any clues ?

Pull valve cover, sounds like your timing chain broke.

How is timing chain related to no spark on all coil packs ?

Did you test the crank position sensor?

No. Can you advise a procedure to test the crank position sensor?

How hard is it to replace it ? Is that sensor under the engine ?
