    mud intake

    Please help!! took my waverunner out today and our day was cut short when i ran through a shallow muddy cove and sucked in mud!!! i began to overheat so i was towed to prevent further damage! there is no water coming out of pisser but water comeing out back and underneath....where so i begin to clean this out?

    reverse flush on the hose, hold the hose adapter on the pissers with ski running, there is a screen in the pump area. 4 10mm bolts hold it together, pop them out and pull the plastic screen and clean that out as well. You can access it easily by taking ride plate off.
    Thats most likely where its clogged. Try the screen first hook hose up and see if it works, if not try back flushing the clog out.
