RXT SC and outlet hose question

Since I'm waiting on the engine to get back from the machine shop on ski #1, I had time to dig into ski #2. ( i just bought both of these ) This one was running fine and then lost power and stalled a few times and then cranked over slowly. Then, it cleared up and ran fine except that it was low on power. Owner took it to the shop and the guy said the SC bearing was destroyed. He ended up putting a new rear housing, impeller and bearing. I have the old housing and impeller, you can clearly see where the impeller ate into the housing. SInce I just sent my SC from ski #1 into jerry for an overhaul, i figured I will take this one out and have a look at it. Well, the first thing was he only put two bolts back in instead of three and what the heck is in the outlet hose going to the throttle body? It appears to be some sort of grease. It is very thick and not easily removed. You can run your finger in it and it will get covered in it. the entire hose is coated in it. i assume it was something the guy used to fix the SC and it got sucked into the hose?

Everything look OK with this setup on the SC? and second pic is the grease?

    Okay...touchdown.

remove the hose...clean tb....remove and clean ic. When you get your rebuilt sc back...install...check clamps.

You may still have dodged a bullet.
