    I want to purchase a Crankshaft for a gp1300R 2006

I need a working crankshaft for a gp1300r, i am on a budget. i can get a new/ refurbished one for like $450 but if i can get one used at a reasonable price why not. please send pm. by working condition i mean no bent rods, no damaged bearing, not from an engine that locked up and gave up a piston, working means just that, that it works as it should.

Word of advise for you DO NOT BUY A USED OR REFURBISHED CRANKSHAFT! Save till you can buy a NEW oem crankshaft. Tommy Jordan

Just curious as to why everyone suggests to buy a new OEM crank instead of having the current one rebuilt. Is there something inherently different with the Yamaha cranks where they don't take to rebuilds as well? I would think that if good quality parts are used in the rebuild they would be fine. I only have experience with Polaris cranks, and rebuilds are fine as long as they are rebuilt with OEM quality parts. Reason I ask is that I have a few friends with Yamaha 2 strokes and I want to point them the right way when the time comes.

My first rebuild my center piston gave away not sure why, I then had the rod and web replaced locally and know the 2nd and 3 piston needle bearings are loose and I dont mean side to side I mean up and down not sure how or why this has happen but I called it quits with this crank and want either one from a perfectly working engine or a rebuilt but I am patient and will not pay for a new one I have 5 more skis I can use or I can grab a decent used engine for a reasonable price.

Ps: yes I replaced the needle bearings along with all pistons and had them all sleeved to the new pistons pro-x pistons
