Fizzle Y1000 Yamaha Intercoolers are back in stock!

The intercoolers came in today. Sorry for keeping you all waiting. There are 3 options and the only difference between the options are related to the blow off valve (priced accordingly).

The first option is the full kit with an authentic HKS or authentic Tial 50mm blow off valve. When you go to place your order please make a note in the comments section for which blow off valve you would like:

The second option is the full kit with a HKS style (not authentic) blow off valve. This is the same as the last set of intercoolers that ran out of stock earlier this summer.

The third option is the full kit with no blow off valve. The intercooler will already have a flange on the intercooler for the blow off valve of your choice (either HKS or Tial). When you go to place your order please make a note in the comments section for which blow off valve you will be running with the intercooler.

Does the third option come with a block off plate? My BOV is on my inlet hose to my IC from my SC.

No, it comes with flange for either the HKS or the Tial BOV (you specify). The stock inlet hose from IC to SC is not used with this kit.

Did you ever get a comparison between this intercooler and the R&D 18005 (air box mount) cooler? Just curious, that's the one I have now and am wondering what gains I might see with a C3 or ET15.5.

Unfortunately I have not been able to find someone for that comparison. I only know 2 people running that intercooler. I will say the same thing about the R&D as I do the Riva though - If you already have one, it might not be worth the time and cost to switch. The type 14 frozen boost on the other hand, I can say that people are seeing 100+ RPM gains and less heat fade when they switch to the Fizzle Y1000.

I will be stocking a few that have the 2 lb spring and are black in color. Any other color or spring would be special order and would probably take about a week or so.

Easy fix. Trace the outlet and screw holes to a piece of paper. Use that as a template to cut a small piece of aluminum. Apply RTV to aluminum and bolt on. Let sit for 24hrs.

Or better bet, sale the elbow and just use the outlet on the IC.

This thing work with an 09? Fits where the stock IC sits and I dont have to fabricate any brackets?
