    sc questions....

can somebody tell me what the red arrows are pointing to in the pic?

they look a lot like 04/05 metal clutches but what in gods name are they doing there. its an 06 upgrade kit with jerry metal washers. slip is over 12...

also notice how there is no thread left. normally there is few threads sticking out past the nut.

the reason i ask is becuase i am seeing 5lbs of boost with a rr imp and a rear air intake . and it doesnt pull as hard as last year..so im def losin boost. all hoses were tight. any ideas?

yea i fgured that..good thing i didnt run it for long...can this cause low boost?

wasnt built by me...and another thing. i noticed the washer with the flast on it for the shaft holder tool..the flat goes the entire width of the washer, like an 04/05. where as the 06 upgrades had the flat on only half the width of the washer....

After staring at that pic i finally realized what was done here.

That is an 06 spec flat nut, but an 04-05 gear. The 04-05 gears are thinner than the 06 gear so they put an EXTRA set of metal washers in the spring washer stack to make up for the thickness lost in the gear. Problem is, even putting the extra metal washers in the stack doesn't create enough tension and the slip moment is too low resulting in low boost.

    SEND ME THAT SC!!!
