2006 RXP engine in 2004; What is needed to make it interchangeable

    Hello

Will the engine out of a 2006 RXP 215 fit into a 2004? If so, what needs to be changed to make it work?

Wiring looms are different in the 2006 mate. I'm guessing if you keep your original loom you should be fine. Cps might be different though. You might have to research that as I think they may have changed about that period.

Cant see why not, although you might have to use your PTO housing to be safe.

Do u have the complete 06' harness, & electronics?

If not, u could use the 04' crank, and PTO cover. (crank dowel pin is in wrong position)

I have to swap the whole crank? Doesn't seem worth it. I'll read up with the link you provided
