    Dielectric Grease

    Hi Guys

The grease that sits on the coil packs is it really necessary as mine has totally dried up over the last 2 years.
If it is required is there a particular type to use ?
I've been trying to obtain it on line but the last 2 I ordered were to liquid and failed to do the job I need thick stuff.

Use Molykote 111 compound on the ignition coil rubber seals.

If you were in the US, every autoparts store carries the Permatex brand of dielectric grease.

yea the grease is definitely a good idea...keeps water out and prevents contacts from corroding.
