    260 mods to gain speed

    got a 2010 260 what cheap mods can i do to get more speed?

    RidePlate, Grate, Prop (Tweak stock or aftermarket), and otherwise leave it stock.

    what if i wanted to make it a 310 would it take a lot of upgrades?

    You could put a 310 motor, supercharger etc... into a 260 hull. Then replace said hull with a 310 hull. That might work

    in other words just sell this one and get a 310 and call it a day. with seadoo and yamaha we have lots of ad ons we can do is this not the case with the kawis,

    You can do add on's but at the end of the day you won't be as fast as a 310x with a SCOM.

    Even if you got close to 310 . Your reliability will be shit
    been there done that.
    just do the smart hing and buy a 310
    and gas and go

    Correct. Going "backwards" is not a good idea. You should take a moment and read "JB's 50 hour 310 report" . . . . that's all you need to know. JB

    Well now JB let me ask you a question. Your highest finish at LB/CAT (and a darn good one at that) was on a 260 or a 310? To me these 310s sound a little boring, never have to check or do anything but change the exhaust filter once a season. But at least they handle as good as a 250/260 now...
