    Solas impeller on 60hp spark

So wondering if anyone has an answer for me here. My parents have 2 sparks, 60hp with 5 hours on each one. They sucked some rocks up destroying the impellers (took some bad advice on where it was safe to drive). So I need impellers for both.

It seems to be the same price to get stock impellers or solas ones, does anyone know if a Solas will work fine in a 60 horse machine or should I just go with the stock? Would much rather have the stainless steel.

    Thanks

I saw a stock prop, new on Ebay, 230 or best offer, might want to offer the guy 200. Not sure how much the Solas props are going for

Aren't the stock impellers stainless , as well? There are companies which repair props/ impellers. My own experience has been that nicks can be filed out and the props/ impellers still be serviceable. Maybe not full performance or efficiency, but certainly an option.

Pretty sure the stock ones are steel. Its pretty banged up, would rather just get a new one.

They are not stainless. This was mine after 2 ocean rides. I swapped for a Solas and it has marginally better hook up and no change in top speed.

They are stainless, just not surgical grade so they get surrface corrosion.
Flushing it with fresh water will keep it in much better shape.
