    FZR SHO water in hull

    everytime.... water in hull...
    not much.
    only an inch...
    but...
    where does water comes in?

we ride ever on sea... in chop water... and water could get in. ok

but sometimes, I ride on river. very calm water. like glass.
no 360 turn, no submarine figure... ... only ride 15 minutes for afr/speed tests...
    and some water came in...
    from where???

Don't worry ale You ride in the saltwater so the water Your seeing is what goes over the bow in between the hull in the front and collects in the rear. Totally norm!!

If you haven't had the transom plate off it could be the sealant around that. There have been some earlier FZR's that didn't have a good bead of sealant around the transom plate to hull area and water gets in around the fittings that go thru the hull, especially the cooling water feed line.

Could do as someone suggested in another post. Fill the hull with a little water and sit back and watch.

    yes!
every ski I have had has water in.
    every time
    every ski

    but...
    my question is ...
from where does it enter if I ride in calm water and no waves could enter from ventilation holes.

and the answer seems to be...
    ... transom plate
    ... ride plate inserts...
    and the clamps.
my ski has R&D cooling upgrade with 3 new water bypass
some new non return valve and new fittings...
but always seem to be ok.
    maybe transom or ride plate.

but removing transom plate seems to me a PITA...
I don't know if I want remove to check sealant...

You may have a worn seal on the bearing that supports the driveshaft in the bulkhead (mid-wall) plate. It will probably only leak under load so the only way to detect it would be to disassemble it.
