    Intake Grate Removal

    Hey folks quick question.

I am replacing my intake grate, and i cannot get the damn thing off...I have removed the top and taken the 3 nuts+bolts out, i figured it would just drop out after that freely or maybe a little pull from the sealent but this thing does not want to come out...is there something i am missing...does the ride plate have to come off??

    Thanks

I did the same thing and then finally removed the two hex head screws and the old grate fell to the floor.... LOL

I feel as though the only thing letting me down at this point is my impeller. I just did the air intake and intake grate (with seal kit) yesterday. just took it for a quick rip and it feels like the impellers pitch is just off. I am going to swap back to my stock impeller and see if there's any difference. Also anybody know if there is any real difference in the R&D vs the worx intake grate.

Wounder if anyone has tride the worx ride plate yet..i want to get one but with the season comming to a close in a month or so figured i'd wait it till next year.
