    I hate getting old.

Got on the water for the first time this year. That's right...the 6th of September. I'm normally on the water by tax time....ah well...it ain't been a good year.

I had the ski ready to go by June...but never made it out. Then I figured I better get the sc rebuilt since it's been a coupla years since the last one. Weather wasn't bad...relatively calm...but the rad musta sckd....I was still down 300rpm. Yeah...full fuel...most of it 9mnths old(that's a first for me)...yeah I put on another 10-15 pounds...but [email protected]#$%^&*

On top of all that....I broke my dang toe as I was starting out this a.m. Thought I'd just jambed it...you know...didn't set my foot right in the well or somethin...nope. Thing is literally black and blue.

Ah well....did I say I hate getting old?

yeah but once in the saddle you feel younger again....then after a hard days ride you go back to feelin old again....its a no win situation but its worth it every time out on the water...

Well if you didn't get out until September, just means you were padding that retirement account all year long !!! Sorry about the toe !!!

You only get old when you quit having fun. I turn 67 yesrs old next week. I usualy ride 100+ miles on most of my rides. I even got a river ride planed this Wed. 125-150 miles on my FZR which is a 85 mph ski. I am trying to stay young as i can. Hang in there my friend. Tommy Jordan

Old is just a state of mind. I tell myself that every day. I do that because I am forgetful and need reminding.
Sometimes the body doesn't hear soo well so I still get sore but its better than the alternative.
