Autometer 2" Boost Gauge Fluttering
I recently installed an Autometer 2" ProComp mechanical boost gauge. Over the weekend, I had a chance to get out and test some new mods and the gauge was one of them. I noticed that as soon as I put full load on the throttle, the boost gauge flutters rapidly around 7-10psi. I have the gauge tapped into the supplied plastic T in the vacuum line between the BOV and the boost port on the MAP.

are the cuts square at the end of the vacuum lines, do you have the lines seated properly in the fittings?

Yes. I didn't have the correct brass barb to go directly from the gauge to the 2nd port in the "Riva multi boost port" so I am going to pick up some fittings and try that next.

Might need to put an orifice in the line to damping the signal.
