Ran Seadoo with Drain Plugs off all weekend

    ... it didn't sink!! ... yes I know, dumb-ass move

Is there some sort of check valve that prevents water from rushing in?? I left it in water all weekend

You're very lucky. To answer your question, the newer Sea Doos have a valve that lets water out faster than it lets water in.

Yes they have a ball valve behind the hole. You're lucky as they sometimes stick open or something gets stuck in the opening.
    Go buy a powerball ticket.

I need to tell the Dumb thing I did two years ago with our Sea Ray inboard. Start up in the spring is always a challenge. It was fogged and now will it start?? Got it going and Yeah down to the boat launch, yes I made sure the drain plug was in.

Got it in the water, grand daughter and wife along. Running along and looked back the bilge pump was pumping a nice stream of water, must be water from all the rain. Twenty minutes goes by still pumping. Pulled into the dock and raised the engine cover, I had forgot to put those plugs back in the engine drain hoses and they are laying on the floor, water pump, pumping water from the lake, to engine and into the sump. Duh.

Those drain plugs with the check valves are probably the smartest thing seadoo has ever brought to market. And undoubtedly saved them thousands of warranty claims.
