2009 SHO Thermostat on SVHO engine??

I've read a few times people using the 2009 SHO/FZR thermostat on the svho engines. Is there a noticeable difference or is it not worth it?

    Thanks

Yep it did... Gets old, when You have been through the same situation as the question posted and either, they don't listen or if they finally do there is a pissing contest.

I try to respond to a topic into which I have had experience with good or bad.

As shrr said the 09 will open sooner, but if You start modifying Your Ski I have found out(SVHO) that removing the thermostat completely and placing a restrictor was the only way to go.

Now knowing the function of a thermostat, it's important it really depends on mods and climate

the whole point of messing with Your thermostat is getting Your motor to the correct operating temp.

hence when You do it( remove it in some cases) it's very important to not make the motor run to cold, because in most cases it's just as bad as running a motor at hotter than normal temps IMO

Wouldn't the SHO be better for you since your running high boost?
